1. General Provisions

This Refund and Exchange Policy (hereinafter — «Policy») regulates the procedure for returning funds and exchanging electronic books purchased on the website robur-ebooks.shop.

The Policy is governed by:

the legislation of the Russian Federation;

the Public Offer for the Provision of Electronic Books;

Government Decree No. 2463;

Article 18 of the Law «On Protection of Consumer Rights».

2. Important Notice on Digital Products

In accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation (Government Decree No. 2463, Article 18 of the Law «On Protection of Consumer Rights»), electronic books (digital products) of proper quality are not subject to return or exchange.

This means that:

refunds are not possible after the Customer has downloaded the purchased electronic book;

exchange of a purchased book for another title is not provided.

3. Exceptions (When a Refund is Possible)

A refund or exchange may be granted in the following cases:

Technical issues with the file: the file is corrupted, damaged, or cannot be opened by standard readers for the specified format (FB2, EPUB, PDF).

Mismatch with description: the delivered book does not match the description on the website (wrong title, wrong author, incomplete content).

Duplicate payment: the Customer has accidentally made two or more payments for the same book.

Non‑delivery: the Customer did not receive the book within 24 hours after payment (no email with a download link, no access to the personal account).

4. Refund Procedure

To request a refund, the Customer must:

1. Contact the Contractor within 24 hours after the purchase (or after detecting the issue) via:

5. Refund Terms

The Contractor reviews the refund request within 3 business days.

If the request is approved, the refund is made to the original payment method.

The refund period is up to 10 business days from the date of the approved request.

The amount refunded is the full purchase price of the book.

6. Exchange Procedure

If the Customer requests an exchange (e.g., due to receiving a file in an incorrect format), the Contractor will:

provide the correct version of the book in the requested format (FB2, EPUB, or PDF);

ensure the exchange is completed within 24 hours of receiving the request (if technically possible).

7. Cases Where Refund/Exchange is Not Possible

The Contractor has the right to refuse a refund or exchange in the following cases:

the Customer changed their mind after downloading the book (no technical or content issues);

the Customer claims the book is «not interesting» or «not useful»;

the issue is caused by the Customer’s device (e.g., lack of a suitable reader app, device incompatibility);

the request is submitted later than 24 hours after the purchase;

the Customer provided incorrect contact details (e.g., wrong email), which prevented delivery.
